Halloween!

This year, we decided not to carve our pumpkins. Instead, we cut out eyes, noses, and mouths from magazines and glued them to our pumpkins! We also made these little bats! Sarah did them all by herself! Aren't they great???

Ben enjoying his first lollipop (it was just about the only thing he could eat, being allergic to dairy!)

He looked so cute dragging his trick or treat bag, along with that tail, behind him!

Sarah is a ROCKSTAR!

Out and about in NYC!

The Plane Ride to NYC!
Both kids did AWESOME on the 5+ hour flight to NYC!

Tyson , Ben, and I went out and saw some sights in NYC. (Sarah wanted to stay with grandma and grandpa!) We went to Rockafellar Plaza, hoping to go up to the top and see all of the city. However, the weather had different plans! It POURED down on us! We had fun running through the city and through the rain! After the plaza, we went to Time Square, and then the heavens really opened up, so we ducked into a small little diner and had dinner. I t was fun!Ben loved helping me hold the umbrella!
The Benjamin hotel was right around the corner from our hotel! We had to get a picture in front of it! :)

The Luncheon on Saturday

On Saturday, we met at Kathleen's parent's rented NY apartment to meet her family and have lunch. It was a wonderful afternoon, which turned into a wonderful evening!
Walking to the apartment through NYC. Ben liked hanging out on Grandpa's back for a change!Arran and I on the front stoop.

The Wedding!!!!

Ian and Kathleen got married in TarryTown (a 40 minute train ride north of NYC).
It was GORGEOUS! The fall leaves were changing, the weather was crisp, but not too cold.
Blue Hill is located on the old Rockafellar dairy farm. It is a true working farm with lots of animals, gardens, and scenic beauty.
